An attack on a kindergarten left six people dead and one injured, this Monday (10), in China . The victims were stabbed, according to local authorities. A 25-year-old man was arrested.
Police called the case “intentional assault” but did not give details on the ages of the victims. Chinese media said adults and children were among the injured.
The case happened in the province of Guangdong, southeast of China, around 7:40 am local time – Sunday night (9) in Brazil. The causes of the attack are being investigated.
Attacks on schools have become more frequent in China, even though the country has strict laws regarding gun ownership and security.
In August 2022, three people were killed and six injured in a stabbing at a kindergarten in Jiangxi province.
As early as 2021, a man killed two children and injured 16 at another children’s school in Guangxi.
