A loss to world cinema, Ray Stevenson dies aged 58

The world of the seventh art mourns the loss of the eternal Dagonet of King Arthur (2004). Northern Irish actor Ray Stevenson died this Sunday (21) at the age of 58. According to The Wrap, the cause of death has not been disclosed.

Stevenson became known worldwide for playing Dagonet in the famous film and remake of “King Arthur” from 2004; Titus Pullo on the HBO television series “Roma”. in addition to giving life to two Marvel Comics characters: Frank Castle in Punisher: War Zone and Volstagg in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Recently, in one of his latest works, he took on the role of Governor Scott Buxton in the Netflix hit Indian feature “RRR: Uprising, Rebellion, Revolution“, directed by S.S. Rajamouli, who won the 2023 Oscar for Best Original Song.
