Timberwolves’ Injury Report Against The Thunder

On Friday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves are hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Target Center for the play-in tournament.

For the game, the Timberwolves have announced their injury report (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).

The Timberwolves have ruled out Naz Reid and Jaden McDaniels.

Meanwhile, Rudy Gobert, Jaylen Nowell and Karl-Anthony Towns have been listed as questionable.

The Timberwolves finished the regular season with a 42-40 record which had them as the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

They lost their first play-in tournament game 108-102 against the Los Angeles Lakers in California (on Tuesday).

Last year, the Timberwolves made the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season (they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round in six games).

The winner of Friday’s game will become the eighth seed and face off with Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs.

As for the Thunder, they went 40-42, which had them as the tenth seed.

They won their first play-in tournament game against the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana 123-118 on Wednesday night.

Coming into the season, the Thunder didn’t have any expectations to be a playoff team, while the Timberwolves were seen as a team who could make a deep run.

During the regular season, the Timberwolves went 22-19 in the 41 games they hosted on their home floor at the Target Center, while the Thunder were 16-25 in the 41 games they played on the road away from Oklahoma City.
